What does it mean to be a Mystonic artist? 

It means an artist has joined our growing community.
(Either by entering the contest or just being accepted directly - send us a demo)

It means that we are going to try to promote that artist to whomever we can think of that might be interested in the particular music, or style.

It does not mean we intend to make any money from that artist, or have any ownership of that artist, or are owed anything by them.

This idea is so far out of the mainstream, that many simply do not understand.  It's actually very simple.  If an artist takes the simple step of either reaching out to us with a demo, or entering a song into one of our monthly contests, we will try to promote that artist in every way we feel appropriate, and we ask nothing in return.

If an artist wins a spot in the contest, that does not mean they must sell their music through our site.  It just means that the vehicle is available to them.  We are far more concerned with proving the model than we are insisting someone allow us to sell music for them.
